LODGING ARRANGEMENTS

for OL SkiRacing School

Transport!...Timings!

PLEASE NOTE: we will not be offering transportation to/from PDX/DEN this year. Options include Epic Mtn Express, renting a vehicle, or driving your own vehicle.
On ARRIVAL DAYS – please be sure to arrive in plenty of time to be prepared for our mandatory orientation meeting (via ZOOM).
On DEPARTURE DAYS – If you are planning to ski on a travel day, be sure to arrange flights to depart no earlier than 5pm.
Your Travel Arrangements must be communicated to OL well in advance of camp so we know what you’re up to.

Make your RESERVATIONS ASAP. Thanksgiving weekend is America’s busiest

Lodging: Check out our OL SkiRacing School discount LINK for lodging to help you navigate lodging at the Winter Park base area. There are several options and several price points. You are also welcome to also search Winter Park for ABnB or VRBO options, or one of many smaller hotels in town. The Base Area offer super-convenience regarding lift/training access. Lift Tickets: Lift tickets are sold separately. In October, we will have a link for you to purchase lift tickets. There is an early season pass for $279 which is your best assured deal. IKON passes will only work once Winter Park has opened to the public. If you’re not planning to ski at an IKON property during the season, the Early Season Pass appears to be the best deal (even for the SL 3.5 option). LINKS coming soon (October).

Our headquarters at Mt Hood will be at the Thunderhead Lodge, located in Gov't Camp.
There are many lodging options around Mt Hood. VRBO.com is a good place to start, as is Collins Lake Condominiums. If you need help, please reach out to us for guidance.
Our headquarters in Winter Park will be directly at the base of Winter Park.
If you need Family reservations, contact us ASAP, or follow the instructions below:
Families can make a reservation by calling Winter Park Group Resv. at 719-494-7710, speak with Jonathan Thompson, and identifying yourself as part of the "OL SkiRacing School training rate".
All campers must arrange their own lodging with parent/guardian, unless previously arranged directly with OL SkiRacing School.
In Winter Park, there are several options for food service including dining in.
We are ON for our traditional Thanksgiving feast this year! See registration for this event on our Enrollment page

We need your travel itinerary!

Now is a great time to purchase airline tickets for November travel Thanksgiving weekend can be challenging–get on it NOW! Each camper must contact OL with his/her travel plans (flight #’s, times, or with whom you’re driving, etc.) at least 10 days prior to arrival!

When you arrive: We will no longer be able to greet campers at the airport – unless arranged directly with Tony Olin.

Driving There, etc…

If you’re planning to drive to Colorado, please allow plenty of time to make our 7: 30pm mandatory Orientation meeting.
